Career Awareness, College Scholarship & Linkage With Employment

Vimukti Sanstha’s vision is to empower girls to become financially independent and self-reliant. Vimukti focuses on career development through skill/vocational development, scholarship for higher education, hand-holding the girls through their professional journey after school and ultimately assisting them in getting internships and employment.

We map the the skills and aptitudes of girls in-school to career choices by:

Exposing girls from class IX onwards to identified career opportunities that are viewed to be in high demand through workshops/ lectures held by industry experts from different fields and exposure visits

Identifying interests, aptitudes and capabilities using inputs from psychometric tests, feedback from Career Counselor and teachers

Helping girls strengthen their feelings of self-worth through regular mentoring.
Periodic counselling of parents to ensure their support in the chosen career/ vocation by their daughters
