From Where It All Started...

“Girls do not drink milk. Milk is only for sons who go to school”, stunned by the words of a domestic help’s 14-year-old daughter Sangeeta, Ms. Lavalina Sogani, a mother of two, embarked on a journey to carve out a path of growth, inclusion and independence for girls like Sangeeta. Education was a prerequisite, a foundational stone.

Key Milestones

Vimukti Sanstha began its journey with just 20 girls and 3 teachers.

2004

Vimukti Girls School received affiliation under the Rajasthan Board for secondary Education (RBSE). English introduced as a medium of instruction in school in Grade 1, one grade at a time.

2012

Career Development Program launched to mentor and guide girls from Grade 9 onwards and place school graduates in higher education or vocational development

2019

‘Project Udaan’ initiated to identify and nurture talent on Sports, Art and Craft, Performing Arts and other non-academic fields 

2020

860 girls in school and 189 girls progressing towards different careers- Accountancy, Law, Physiotherapy,  Bio-Technology, Nursing, BA.B.Ed., Music, Sports, etc. Two girls- Vidhi and Mohini represented India at Asian Youth Olympic Games in Bahrain in 2025
